This is our mission: to be there when others are in trouble

Our mission is to help people in need with faith, compassion and professionalism -
whether within our borders or beyond.

The Research and Rescue Team of the Hungarian Reformed Charity Service is made up of volunteers:
people who are not afraid to act when others would run away.

Because we believe that faith without action is dead -
and we work for this faith every day.

Our history - where we started

In March 2019, we decided that we would like to serve under the banner of the Hungarian Reformed Church Service.

We learned a lot in the first years. The epidemic and the war taught us,
that real help is not always spectacular - but always vital.

Since then, our volunteer team has grown to 17 people, with 5 working dogs and modern rescue equipment.

We use our experience and our faith to save lives and restore hope to those who have almost run out.

What drives us?

01.
Faith and humanity

Behind everything we do is faith - that human life is sacred and can be saved.

02.
Expertise and teamwork

Trained rescuers, firefighters, dog handlers and volunteers work together, to ensure that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

03.
Service and perseverance

No location is too cold, too muddy or too far away, if someone needs us. Because we can't just help - we must help.

Every mission has the same objective: help where lives are at stake.

Experience, courage, humanity - these are our guiding principles on every mission. Our goal is the same, both within and beyond our borders: to help where there is trouble. It's our way - and there's always room for those who think the same way.
