Every alert is a story.
A family waiting for help.
A village flooded by water.
A country where the earth shook.
The Research and Rescue Team of the Hungarian Reformed Charity Service
stands by those in trouble - wherever they are.
Saving lives is our calling.
And we always get on the road when we need to.
Flood rescues
When the water washes everything away, we are there to help. We work on it with boats, rescue equipment and experience, to make sure no one is left alone in distress.
Fires and damage restoration
There is no time to hesitate between the flames. After fires, we help with rescue and damage assessment, and getting those affected back to safety.
Scavenger hunt and search
Collapsed buildings, missing people, tense moments. Every second counts - our rescue dogs and professionals save lives under the rubble.
Missions abroad
When trouble happens across the border, we don't stand idly by.
We were in Turkey after the earthquake,
and our rescue dogs found several survivors under the rubble.
Support and educational activities
We help not only in times of trouble, but also when it's quiet.
We regularly hold presentations, training and community programmes,
so that more people know what they can do in an emergency.
Because prevention can save lives.
If you feel you could do something for others, join us or support our work.
